About Us

We are a family with open arms and we’d like to welcome you to Bethel. We have imperfect, messy lives, but we are pursuing and experiencing a transforming relationship with Jesus and with each other. Everyone is welcome here, whatever your story, your questions, doubts or struggles. We’re all about doing life together in community, being intentional about our growth as believers and serving one another and our community along the way.

What We Believe

The Trinity

There is only one God, who exists eternally as a Trinity of three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Each member of the Trinity is fully God, yet each is personally distinct from the other.

Jesus Christ (second person of the Trinity) was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, was crucified and died on the cross, was resurrected from the dead and ascended to heaven. He baptizes the believer in the Holy Spirit and will return to Earth to conclude history and fulfill God’s plan.

Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit (third person of the Trinity) comes to live within a person once they accept Jesus as their personal savior. The Holy Spirit gives us power to live as God wants us to live, and gives us spiritual gifts to serve the Church and change the world.

Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay for our sins. It is only through faith in Jesus Christ – not by being a good person or doing good deeds – that a person can be restored to a right relationship with God.

The Bible

The Bible was written by men under the guidance and inspiration of the Holy Spirit. It is for all people, in every situation. It contains no error. God’s words were relevant then, are still relevant today, and will be forever.

Water Baptism

Jesus is our example in all things. He was baptized by being fully immersed in water. Following His example is our way to show the world that we have decided to identify ourselves as a child of God and believer in Jesus Christ.

The Church

The Church – the Body of Christ – is not a building. It is a gathering of local believers. The Church is believers working together to fulfill God’s purposes of reaching all people with the Gospel. We are to work together to help each other in love and unity.

Meet Bethel Life

Our Pastors

Pastor Kent & Denise Bell

Pastor Kent and Ms. Denise have pastored at Bethel Life for over 17 years. They have been married 40 years and have 4 adult children, 4 grandchildren and 2 spoiled puppies. They enjoy spending time together, family and friends, the outdoors and serving the community and church.

Pastor Kent served as the Children’s Pastor starting in 1999 and was hired as the Church Administrator in 2002, where he served until he became Senior Pastor in 2003. Pastor Kent is a big John Wayne fan,
enjoys reading, hunting, his horses, and supporting our mission efforts.

Ms. Denise holds a Local Church Minister’s License and is the Founder and Director of Loving HANDS Ministry, our special needs outreach, inspired in part by their son, Jason, who has Angelman’s
Syndrome, a chromosome abnormality. Ms. Denise enjoys warm weather and the beach, watching a good “who done it” movie and reading.
